pFriem Family Brewers opened on the Hood River waterfront in Oregon in August 2012. It was founded by three former employees of another local brewery, among them brewmaster Josh Pfriem, whose family name it carries. The beers draw on Belgian and German brewing traditions and pair them with hops from the Pacific Northwest. Besides the brewery and tasting room in Hood River, the company runs a second tasting room in Milwaukie and a barrel and blending facility in Cascade Locks. It remains independently owned.
