◎ Appearance

A hazy orange body beneath a pale lemon-coloured head that clings persistently to the glass. The turbidity arises from the yeast suspension characteristic of farmhouse fermentation, creating a soft, approachable visual presence. Carbonation appears gentle and well-integrated, supporting a fine, sustained collar of foam.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright tropical fruit—pineapple and papaya dominate the initial impression. Secondary notes of kiwi and honeyed nectar emerge beneath, layered with the subtle herbal and citrus character of Nelson Sauvin, Citra and Tettnang hops. A creamy, yeasty undertone suggests complexity from fermentation without obscuring the fruit-forward profile.

◐ Taste

The palate enters with substantial body and creamy mouthfeel, supporting the fruit and honey notes established on the nose. Mid-palate reveals moderate bitterness from the 38 IBU charge, balanced by a gentle sweetness from the wheat-forward grist and farmhouse yeast character. The 9.5% ABV provides warmth without harshness, integrating seamlessly into the overall texture.

◑ Finish

The finish turns tart and prickly, with a clean, drying sensation that lingers for several seconds. A gentle alcoholic warmth persists in the aftertaste, leaving behind subtle fruit and herbal notes without cloying residue.

Serve at 8–12°C. Saison is refreshing but complex — cold works, but slightly warmer shows its farmhouse character.
