Your Beer DNA is built from beers you rate; matching then computes cosine similarity between your profile vector and every beer. Rare notes like coriander count more than near-universal ones like hoppy — distinctive flavours carry real weight (TF-IDF).

40% of the score (20 + 20)
Beer style family (20%) and sensory specs (20%) — ABV, bitterness (IBU) and colour (SRM). A Gose matches a Berliner Weisse long before it matches a Stout.
