Saison de Fete presents a hazy golden-amber pour with excellent clarity despite its farmhouse character. A fine, persistent head forms and clings to the glass with notable adhesion, leaving delicate lacework as the beer is consumed. Bright carbonation animates the body throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with ripe stone fruit—apricot and peach—layered beneath a gentle barnyard funk that speaks to the mixed fermentation and barrel aging. Dried flowers and a whisper of oak frame the middle register, while a subtle spice and herbal undertone emerge as the glass warms. The overall impression is restrained and inviting rather than aggressive.

Subtle spicing unfolds across a bright, effervescent palate with pronounced refreshing acidity that cuts through the wheat and spelt base. The mid-palate reveals earthy complexity—a quiet vinous quality from the barrel aging—balanced by a delicate herbal backbone from noble hops. The body remains crisp and lively, never heavy or cloying.

The finish stretches long and desiccatingly dry, with a lingering vinous note and gentle herbal aftertaste. A whisper of oak persists without dominance, leaving the palate clean and eager for another sip.
