🌍 United Kingdom · Farmhouse Blend · One of 2 Farmhouse Blends in hopIQ

Cuvee Reserve from Burning Sky Brewery in Firle, East Sussex, is a remarkable farmhouse blend that pushes British wild ale craft into boldly experimental territory. Hazy gold in the glass with a fine, evanescent head, it opens with an inviting nose of ripe orchard fruit, fresh hay, and a delicate Chardonnay-derived florality. The palate is where complexity truly unfolds: silky and layered, with tart lemon zest, green apple, and a gentle funky earthiness inherited from authentic Belgian Lambic sourced from Girardin. Oak-ageing on lambic lees adds a subtle tannic structure and depth. The finish is dry, refreshingly acidic, and long, with lingering notes of white wine and wild yeast character that reward patient sipping.
