pFriem Nectaron Hazy IPA

◎ Appearance

A radiant, sun-kissed orange hue dominates the glass, rendered opaque by suspended yeast and oat proteins. The dense white head settles to a persistent cap with fine retention and delicate lacing that clings to the glass. Bright carbonation rises steadily, lending visual liveliness to the body.

◌ Aroma

Nectaron leads with distinctive tropical and stone-fruit character, immediately supported by bright citrus from Citra and floral complexity from Mosaic. Secondary waves reveal ripe passion fruit, fresh pineapple, sherbet-like sweetness and gummy candy notes, finishing with a subtle wine-like suggestion reminiscent of Riesling. London ale yeast contributes a fruity, slightly estery quality throughout.

◐ Taste

Entry is soft and velvety, delivered by flaked oats that round the palate without muddying clarity. Passion fruit and citrus unfold across the mid-palate, layered with candy-like sweetness and a whisper of wine-like character. Gentle bitterness from a restrained 35 IBU and subtle Chinook backbone provides structure without dominating; the profile remains fruit-forward and balanced.

The finish remains lively and spritzy, with residual citrus and candy-like sweetness fading into a clean, dry conclusion. A subtle fruity note lingers briefly without heaviness.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
