Bright amber-bronze hue with excellent clarity and fine carbonation creating a lively visual presence. The head forms dense and persistent, clinging to the glass with defined lacing that marks each sip. A well-structured pour suggests proper conditioning and fresh handling.

◌ Aroma

Pronounced American hop character dominates, with layered citrus notes—fresh orange zest and grapefruit—woven through a clean, herbal base. Floral undertones and gentle spice emerge from Simcoe and Chinook, while the background holds subtle piney resin without astringency. The malt contributes only a supporting sweetness, allowing hop complexity to occupy the foreground.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with crisp citrus and stone fruit character that transitions into a bittersweet mid-palate where hop intensity builds methodically. Bitter compounds resolve into a dry, resiny finish with lingering orange-peel tannins and subtle caramel warmth that never overwhelms. The 45 IBU sits well-integrated, delivering perceived bitterness through complexity rather than harshness, supported by clean malt backbone.

The aftertaste extends cleanly for several minutes, with hop bitterness gradually subsiding into subtle malt sweetness and orange notes. No sharp astringency or cloying residue; instead, a crisp, inviting dryness that encourages the next sip.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
