🌍 United States · Mexican Lager · One of 23 Mexican Lagers in hopIQ

pFriem Mexican Lager takes its cue from the light lagers of Mexico: pilsner malt with a little Vienna and a pale red malt, a fifth of the grist in corn, and a gentle hand of Perle, Saaz and Tettnang. It is fermented fully dry. The beer is a brilliant pale blonde under white foam. Sweet corn and orange blossom lead the nose, with a light grainy freshness behind them. The palate stays clean, with a neutral grain base and a tortilla-like note of masa, and a touch of bitterness lifts the finish. It is the summer seasonal.
