Founded in September 2009 by former cheesemonger Evin O'Riordain in a railway arch on Druid Street, Bermondsey. The Bermondsey originator and arguably most respected brewery in London. Within 10 years, helped inspire the establishment of around 100 new microbreweries in London — former brewers went on to found Beavertown, Redchurch, Partizan, and Harbour. No loud label art, no pun-led names — single-batch pale ales labelled only with hop varieties; dark beers labelled with historical recipes they revive. Exports globally. Founding member of the London Brewers Alliance.
