Running Porter
A lighter, fresher porter than the brewery's other recipes, named after the historic 'running' beers that were drunk young rather than aged. It was developed together with a London cheesemonger. Light cocoa and an almost cola-like aroma meet the herbal, hedgerow-fruit character of Goldings and Bramling Cross. A touch of roast, warmth and tea-like tannin gives way to red berries, then a rounder hazelnut and praline note and a clean, dry finish.
