The nose announces itself with tropical stone fruit—ripe mango and passion fruit dominate the top notes. Beneath lies a resinous pine backbone, joined by grapefruit pith and a distinctive sticky, cannabis-like dankness that defines the beer's character. The aromatic profile balances citrus brightness with earthy, herbal depth.

The palate opens with a sweet, bready malt foundation that carries the 9% alcohol with ease and composure. Mid-palate intensity builds through layered hop bitterness—earthy, piney, and grapefruit-driven—without sharpness. The malt backbone prevents harshness and provides essential sweetness to balance the assertive Edelhopfen character.
