Pours a clear reddish amber with good brilliance and a fine, persistent head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass. The carbonation presents as moderate, befitting the spirit-forward character of this barrel-aged expression. Light catches the liquid with warm, inviting clarity.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with candied orange peel and fresh citrus zest, characteristics carried from its Fresh Squeezed IPA foundation. Underneath lies a rich layer of caramel, toffee, and brown sugar from the malt bill, complemented by vanilla and dry oak from bourbon barrel aging. A warming whiskey note rounds out the aromatic profile without dominating.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is sweet and full-bodied, with orange and caramel flavors taking the lead across the mid-palate. The bourbon barrel contribution—vanilla, oak, and spirit notes—integrates smoothly with the malt sweetness. Bitterness remains restrained at 21 IBU, playing a supporting role with subtle bitter citrus pith in the mid-to-late palate.

The finish is long and warming, with residual sweetness gradually giving way to a trace of bitter pith and dry oak. Alcohol presence (11.9% ABV) emerges gracefully in the throat without harshness.
