Deep amber to copper-red in the glass, revealing excellent clarity with a fine sediment layer characteristic of a lager. The head forms thick and persistent, with strong lacing that clings to the glass throughout the pour. Carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, suggesting a structured mouthfeel.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with pronounced gingerbread and candied fruit—dried apricot and orange peel leading the charge. Behind these, balsam fir resin and vanilla emerge cleanly, underpinned by a subtle oak character that speaks to patient aging. The grain bill contributes a gentle wheaten warmth, with spice notes that bridge the aromatic complexity without dominating.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is full-bodied and broad, with caramel and dark fruit building quickly across the palate. The rye, oat, buckwheat and wheat blend creates a slightly grainy texture that adds dimension without harshness. Bitterness from 33 IBU sits in perfect proportion, restraining the inherent sweetness and allowing the resinous and spiced character to develop through the mid-palate.

The finish unfolds long and warming, with alcohol integration contributing a pleasant heat that complements rather than dominates. Spice lingers persistently alongside oak and vanilla, leaving a dry, complex aftertaste that invites another sip.
