◎ Aussehen

Deep amber to light copper hue, brilliantly clear with minimal particulate matter. The head builds gently and recedes steadily, leaving delicate lacing on the glass. Carbonation is restrained, befitting the wild fermentation and barrel aging.

◌ Aroma

Tart cherry and stone fruit lead the nose, supported by earthy, funky notes characteristic of Brettanomyces. Almond skin and subtle oak emerge beneath, with a whisper of dried peach and forest floor. The bouquet is complex and layered without aggression.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with bright acidity and dark fruit—tart cherry dominates the entry and mid-palate, flanked by nutty, almond-driven character and soft oak influence. Funky, barnyard undertones provide depth; minimal bitterness (10 IBU) keeps the beer bright and approachable despite its 7.8% alcohol. The finish trails into smooth, slightly earthy notes.

The finish is medium in length, with lingering acidity and a gentle, warming alcohol presence. Subtle earthy and almond notes fade slowly, leaving the palate refreshed rather than exhausted.
