🌍 Italy · Sour Ale · One of 16 Sour Ales in hopIQ

A cherry fruit sour from the Bologna hills — Ca' del Brado's Ciliegia ('cherry' in Italian) is a barrel-aged wild ale refermented with whole Emilian cherries for deep, complex fruit character. Tart cherry, almond skin and stone fruit mingle with the barnyard Brettanomyces base and a soft oak finish at 7.8% ABV. Part of Ca' del Brado's annual fruit sour series alongside kiwi and apricot variants — intensely local, unmistakably Bolognese.
