Hazy golden-amber with a coarse white head; the nose is barnyard-funky with Cascade's citrus and pine underneath, earthy leather and a complex sour edge. On the palate the Brett funk is upfront and uncompromising, the Cascade hops add a fruity citrus dimension, and the whole beer finishes with a long earthy sourness. Not for the faint-hearted, but a landmark Italian wild ale.
