◎ Appearance

Hazy golden-amber with substantial opacity from suspended yeast and wild microbes. A coarse white head forms and clings to the glass with modest retention, leaving broken patches of lacing as the beer settles. The haziness is integral to the profile—a visual marker of the Brett fermentation at work.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with uncompromising Brettanomyces funk—barnyard, leather, and earthy forest floor—before Cascade's citrus and pine emerge underneath. A complex sour edge cuts through, with subtle herbal undertones rounding the overall impression. The wild yeast dominates, but the American hop character is distinctly present.

◐ Taste

The Brett character arrives immediately on the palate, presenting upfront funky and sour notes that are neither shy nor subtle. Cascade hops contribute a fruity citrus dimension that provides counterpoint to the wild fermentation. The body is lean and dry, allowing the interplay between funk, sourness, and hop character to remain transparent throughout.

◑ Finish

A long, drying finish dominated by earthy sourness and residual Brett character. The aftertaste lingers with leather and herbal notes, leaving the palate slightly puckered and clean.
