Beers similar to Brado Cherry Sour

American Wild Ale·Italy·6% ABV·One of 18 American Wild Ales in hopIQ·

hopIQ found 10 beers that share Brado Cherry Sour's sour and oaky character. A barrel-aged wild ale refermented on whole Montmorency and Morello cherries from the Emilia-Romagna countryside. Deep garnet-pink with a light pink head; the nose is intensely cherry-forward with a wild funkiness from Brettanomyces, subtle oak and a fresh sour edge. The palate is bracingly sour and fruity with tart cherry driving the flavour, a chewy tannic oak quality from the barrel and an earthy, funky finish that lingers long. One of Ca' del Brado's most beloved expressions.
