Zena presents a pale straw yellow with excellent clarity and a delicate, fine-bubbled head that leaves thin but persistent lacing on the glass. The carbonation is lively and well-integrated, creating a bright, inviting visual presence that signals its refreshing character.

The nose opens with tart lactic notes and bright lemon citrus, followed by subtle coriander spice and a faint sea-salt minerality. Beneath these primary notes, a soft wildness emerges—a slightly herbal, funky undertone from the Italian wild yeast that adds complexity without dominating the bouquet.

Entry is crisp and gently salty, with a firm tartness that builds across the mid-palate without harshness. Wheat provides a soft, slightly bready foundation, while coriander adds a dry, slightly peppery quality.
