Left Handed Giant
Left Handed Giant traces back to 2014, when brewer Rich Poole brought his beer into Small Bar in Bristol and began brewing with Bruce Gray and Jack Granger on a 200-litre kit at the back of the bar. The project grew into a cuckoo brewery before its own plant opened in St Philips in 2017. In 2019 a crowdfunded brewpub followed at Finzels Reach on the floating harbour, on a site with more than 250 years of brewing history. The two sites together brew around 7,000 hectolitres a year.
