Simple Maths

Tap to rate

Simple Maths is a double dry-hopped pale built entirely on Australian hops: Galaxy, Azure and Beedelup, a high-oil variety from New South Wales that Left Handed Giant was among the first UK breweries to use. An early addition of Prysma liquid hops and a heavy dry hop of T90 pellets bring Galaxy's fruit to the front. Guava, sticky mango and white peach sit over a dank, sweet tropical character, at 5.5%.

◐ Taste

Entry is clean and fruit-driven, with guava and mango arriving immediately on the palate. The mid-palate develops a balanced bitterness—35 IBU provides structure without harshness—while tropical and dank sweetness persists. Malt backbone is restrained, allowing the Australian hops to command the flavor narrative without overwhelming astringency.

Serve at 7–10°C

Cold enough to sharpen the hop aroma without numbing the palate. Around 7–9°C keeps the citrus and pine vivid without losing bitterness definition.

Pint glass

The classic — versatile, comfortable to hold and keeps the beer cool. No frills, no distractions: just the beer.

Drink fresh — hop aroma fades fast. Best within 3 months of canning or bottling.
