Opening Theme

Tap to rate

Opening Theme is a hazy IPA with Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe, on the brewery's list since 2020. It returns this year as one of three beers exploring the same hop combination. The texture stays full and creamy, and a new addition of Heidelberg ultra pale malt gives a paler colour than before. Selected hop lots and two New Zealand crops of Nelson Sauvin carry notes of sauvignon grape, honeydew and peach, at 6.5%.

◎ Appearance

Opening Theme presents a pale golden hue with a soft haze throughout, the result of a deliberate shift toward Heidelberg ultra pale malt that lightens the brew compared to previous editions. The head is dense and creamy, settling into a persistent collar with good lacing on the glass. Carbonation is moderate and even, characteristic of a well-executed hazy IPA.
