◎ Appearance

Pale straw yellow with a distinctly hazy suspension throughout. The dense, creamy head forms quickly and clings to the glass with visible Schaumhaftung. Carbonation appears moderate and well-integrated, contributing to the beer's soft, pillowy presentation.

◌ Aroma

White grape and lime lead the nose, a signature expression of the Motueka hop's winey character. Subtle layers of stone fruit—peach and apricot—emerge beneath, with restrained floral notes and a whisper of citrus zest. The profile is refined rather than aggressive, allowing the aromatic complexity to unfold without hop oils dominating.

◐ Taste

The palate enters smooth and creamy, the malt foundation providing gentle sweetness and a soft body that frames the hoppy mid-palate. Citrus and peach flavors develop mid-sip, building toward a moderate bitterness of 50 IBUs that feels clean and articulate rather than harsh. The finish remains dry and slightly herbal, with lingering stone-fruit impressions.

◑ Finish

Medium finish with a dry exit and subtle white-grape persistence. The aftertaste is clean, allowing the winey hop character to fade gradually without astringency.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
