Elland Brewery
Elland Brewery was established in April 2002 as Eastwood & Sanders (Fine Ales) Limited through a merger of the Barge & Barrel Brewery Company of Elland and the West Yorkshire Brewery of Luddendenfoot. The company was renamed Elland Brewery Limited in July 2006. The brewery became well known for its multi award-winning beers, particularly its 1872 Porter, which was crowned CAMRA's Champion Beer of Britain in 2023. In February 2024, directors called in liquidators and the brewery entered voluntary winding-up, closing after 22 years of operation.
