Founded in Victoria, British Columbia, in 2008, when Kevin and Jason took the keys to a unit on Hillside Avenue and sold their first kegs to a pub on Cook Street. The range runs from the flagship Fat Tug IPA to a substantial barrel programme — Flanders reds, oud bruins and fruit beers aged in foudres, released under the Bird of Prey name. Since 2021 the brewery has been in Esquimalt.
