◎ Appearance

Pale straw to light gold, with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that clings to the glass. The carbonation is restrained but present, creating a gentle fizz that suits the beer's contemplative character. The hue reflects the wheat ale base and time spent in oak without darkening.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with tropical fruit—pineapple and passionfruit—lifted by dry hopping, followed immediately by vanilla and coconut warmth from the Barbados rum barrel. Beneath lies a soft wheat character and subtle oak spice. The Lactobacillus adds a clean tartness to the bouquet without any vinegary harshness.

◐ Taste

Entry is tart and brisk, the Lactobacillus providing clean acidity that enlivens the palate without aggression. Mid-palate softens into the barrel's sweet vanilla and coconut notes, balanced by the wheat ale's gentle malt body. The dry hopping brings citrus and stone fruit complexity, while the 9.1% alcohol adds warmth and body without dominating the flavor.

The finish is dry and moderately long, with the sourness persisting pleasantly and the barrel's warmth lingering in the throat. No aggressive bitterness—only the gentle fade of tropical fruit and subtle oak spice.
