🌍 Spain · Dry-Hopped Lager · One of 3 Dry-Hopped Lagers in hopIQ

Rosa Blanca is a Mallorcan brand founded in 1927 that once brewed Pilsen, Munich and Bock Balear beers on the island before it disappeared. Damm relaunched it in 2018 as a hoppy lager and brews it in Barcelona. The bottom-fermented beer uses barley malt, maize and rice, and receives Citra hops cold, at 0 to 1 °C, during maturation to draw out aroma without bitterness. It pours pale gold with a creamy head. Citrus and stone fruit sit over lightly toasted cereal, the body is balanced and creamy, and the bitterness light.
