🌍 Spain · Pale Lager · One of 101 Pale Lagers in hopIQ

A.K. Damm was launched in 2001 for the company's 125th anniversary and is named after its founder, August Kuentzmann Damm. Unlike the house lager it is an all-malt beer of water, barley malt, hops and yeast, brewed after the Alsatian method at 11.5 °P. It shows a light mahogany hue with toasted glints and a faintly golden head of dense, fine bubbles. Spicy, penetrating aromas lead, sweetness and bitterness sit in balance with a clean acidity and a note of fresh yeast, and toasted accents give the finish its savoury character.
