Pivovar Permon
Permon began in 2006 in the garage of a family house near Sokolov. Owner Ladislav Sás, a trained cyberneticist, chose his son-in-law as brewer, and the pair grew the brewery step by step. Since 2011 it brews in the Capuchin monastery in Sokolov, where the town granted it brewing rights. Next to classic Czech lagers, the house follows a wide path of top-fermented beers: pale ales, IPAs, stouts, sours and seasonal specials, mostly unfiltered, unpasteurised and fermented in open vessels.
