The first tap poured that July on Gottingen Street, where the brewery still sits in a building that once held a carpenters' union hall and an alternative cinema. It opened with two beers, an Extra Special Bitter and a Pale Ale, and later introduced Nova Scotia to the India Pale Ale. Main production moved to Windmill Road in 2013.
