Galaxy IPA

◎ Appearance

Pale golden with a pronounced haze characteristic of the New England style. The beer presents a soft, pillowy head that settles into a delicate layer, leaving intermittent traces of lacing down the glass. Carbonation appears moderate and well-integrated, contributing to the overall soft-edged presentation.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with tropical stone fruit notes from Galaxy hops—ripe pineapple and peach emerge immediately. Beneath these, Citra and Mosaic add brighter citrus notes of tangerine and mango, creating a layered, fruity expression. The overall aromatic profile is clean and inviting, with no harsh or aggressive hop character.

◐ Taste

The palate opens soft and juicy, with Galaxy hops delivering ripe pineapple and peach at the entry. Mid-palate develops a nectar-like quality where tangerine and mango notes from Citra and Mosaic integrate seamlessly with the fruit-forward foundation. Bitterness is restrained and sits well in the background, allowing the fruit expression to dominate without drying or astringency.

◑ Finish

The finish fades gently and lingers with residual tropical fruit notes, avoiding the typical hop-driven dryness of traditional IPAs. A mild sweetness persists without becoming cloying.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
