◎ Appearance

Nimbus presents a soft, pale golden hue with pronounced haze throughout—the brewery's cloud-like descriptor proves apt. The beer maintains a pillowy white head with steady retention and fine lacing around the glass. Carbonation reads as moderate, creating a gently textured pour that emphasizes the beer's full but approachable mouthfeel.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright tropical stone fruit—pineapple and mango dominate the top note, supported by clean citrus zest. A subtle undercurrent of pink grapefruit adds complexity without sharpness. The hop character remains fresh and fruity rather than resinous; yeast-derived esters contribute a gentle, rounded character that refuses to turn brash.

◐ Taste

Entry is clean and fruity, with tropical notes settling immediately on the palate. The mid-palate sustains pineapple and orange character while bitterness builds gradually—rounded rather than sharp, never overshadowing the fruit. At 6% ABV, the body holds its fullness without heaviness, allowing the citrus and grapefruit notes to remain in focus through to the finish.

The finish trails gently with lingering grapefruit and citrus notes, fading rather than lingering aggressively. Clean, refreshing, and free of astringency or harsh aftertaste.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
