The head forms quickly and clings to the glass with moderate persistence, leaving delicate traces of lacing as the beer settles. Carbonation appears lively yet controlled, supporting the hazy character without excessive aggression.

◌ Aroma

Tropical fruit notes lead immediately from the nose—mango, papaya, and stone fruit leap forward without astringency. Bright citrus zest, particularly grapefruit and lemon peel, weaves through the profile with clean, refreshing intensity. A light, grainy malt base sits recessed beneath the hop aromatics, allowing the Edelhopfen character to dominate without heavy floral or resinous overtones.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with immediate hop-driven juiciness, delivering tropical fruit and citrus flavours directly across the tongue without the weight typical of heavily hopped beers. A light, crisp malt foundation provides just enough sweetness and body to anchor the bitterness, which arrives as a soft, measured presence rather than a sharp bite. The mid-palate remains refreshing and lean, with hop flavour taking precedence over lingering bitterness throughout.

The finish is short and clean, with bitterness fading quickly into a dry, crisp conclusion. No sticky residue or heavy aftertaste persists; instead, the beer leaves the palate refreshed and ready for the next sip.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.
