◎ Appearance

A bright golden amber with excellent clarity and a well-defined white head that builds assertively and clings to the glass with fine lacing. The carbonation is crisp and persistent, evident in the steady stream of small bubbles rising through the clear body. The color sits at the lighter end of the amber spectrum, reflecting a restrained malt bill that lets the hops take the stage.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads immediately with resinous pine and fresh citrus—grapefruit and lemon zest dominate, layered over a background of herbal and slightly woody hop character. Beneath lies a clean, modest malt foundation that suggests pale crystal notes without intruding. There is no esters or yeast-derived sweetness; the profile remains dry and focused on the Edelhopfen.

◐ Taste

Entry is crisp and immediately bitter, with pine and citrus flavors arriving in tandem and persisting across the mid-palate. The malt backbone remains intentionally restrained, providing just enough sweetness and body to balance the assertive hop bitterness without softening it. The finish turns progressively drier, with resinous and herbal notes lingering as the bitterness firms up, characteristic of West Coast IPA philosophy.

◑ Finish

The finish is dry and firmly bitter, with the resinous pine and citrus giving way to a lingering herbal bite. The aftertaste is lean and clean, free of any residual sweetness or coating; it reads as distinctly West Coast in its commitment to hop-driven bitterness over roundness.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
