Pint of Sheffield

Tap to rate

A beer designed by public vote, in collaboration with a Sheffield beer-review channel: more than 4,000 people decided on colour, haze, hop character and bitterness. The first result, at 5.9%, is hazy, pale and hoppy, tropical in flavour and low in bitterness. The vote has been repeated annually since, with a new recipe each year, while this original has been rebrewed; part of the proceeds goes to a local charity. Poured on draught.

Tasting Notes

AI-generated sensory profile for Pint of Sheffield

◎ Appearance

A pale, luminous golden brew with pronounced haze throughout the body, created through deliberate yeast suspension rather than filtration. The white head forms readily and clings to the glass with fine, persistent lacing. Bright carbonation animates the pour, settling into a soft, pillowy crown.
