Astral

Tap to rate

A stout built on ten grains and hopped with Admiral and Jester, fermented with the house ale yeast. It began without nitrogen and was later reworked for nitrogen dispense by popular request, which gives a creamy head and a velvety pour. Black, silky smooth and rounded, with subtle notes of coffee and chocolate. At 4.2% it sits at the classic session strength for the style. Draught only so far: from tank to tap in the taproom and at stockists beyond.
