Rousse presents a bright copper hue characteristic of the Vienna Lager style, with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent head that leaves delicate lacing down the glass. The carbonation is visible and lively, creating a clean, inviting presentation that speaks to careful conditioning and handling.

The nose leads with pronounced caramel and lightly toasted bread notes, backed by a subtle nuttiness that adds complexity without becoming assertive. German noble hops provide a restrained, herbal undertone—barely perceptible as spice but enough to balance the malt-forward character and prevent any cloying sweetness.

◐ Geschmack

On the palate, caramel and bready malts dominate the entry, with a thread of biscuit running through the mid-palate and a gentle nutty edge keeping the profile from turning one-dimensional. The 19 IBU hopping stays firmly in the background, providing just enough bitterness to cleanse the malt without ever registering as sharp or assertive. The body remains medium throughout, allowing each layer to remain distinct and accessible.
