Bière de Miel pours a luminous golden-yellow, bright and transparent with fine carbonation evident throughout. A modest, creamy white head forms and clings to the glass with delicate lacing, revealing a well-integrated fermentation.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with pronounced chestnut honey, warm and slightly floral, accompanied by candied orange peel and mimosa blossom notes. A subtle nuttiness emerges, with hazelnut offering earthy depth beneath the honeyed florals, while the Belgian yeast remains restrained and clean.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is clean and medium-bodied with a bone-dry character despite the honey bill—all fermentable sugars have been consumed. The palate develops hazelnut and subtle orchard fruit, while gentle spice from the yeast adds complexity. Bitterness is restrained at 18 IBU, allowing honey and grain to converse without harshness; the finish remains crisp and mineral-driven.

◑ Abgang

A clean, relatively short finish leaves behind a whisper of hazelnut and honey, with lingering minerality and a touch of floral memory. The aftertaste is refreshing rather than cloying, inviting another sip.
