Oro presents a bright golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that forms tight lacing around the glass. The beer displays lively carbonation evident in steady streams of fine bubbles rising through the body. The pale straw-gold color is characteristic of the Belgian strong golden style, clean and inviting.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with warm, honeyed pear notes underscored by Belgian yeast phenolics—white pepper and subtle clove character. Beneath lies a restrained woody oak impression from extended foeder aging, paired with light funky undertones and delicate floral hints. The overall aromatic profile is approachable and complex without being assertive, revealing layers as it warms.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters smooth and warming, with pear-led fruitiness and honey sweetness providing body without cloying. Mid-palate shows the marriage of spicy Belgian-yeast character with subtle barrel-wood tannins and a light funky undertone that adds intrigue. The finish transitions toward dryness with restrained bitterness (25 IBU) and a slightly bready, yeasty quality that lingers gently.

◑ Abgang

The finish is moderately long and warming, with the spice and oak fading into a dry, slightly funky aftertaste. Residual honey notes linger faintly as the alcohol warmth builds gradually through the throat.
