Muifelbrouwerij
It started with a chemist's hobby kettles: in 2002 Martin Ostendorf brewed his first batches at home in Megen, and the name came from a tasting night, when someone shouted that this was "unne Muifel", a Megense Duvel. In 2006 an agency commissioned 500 litres of his Zuster Agatha, and the Muifelbrouwerij was born. Since 2016 it sits on the Vikingenweg in Oss; its own kettles, built by Meto Machinery in Jinan, brewed their first batch in January 2019 and were opened that February by the King's Commissioner Wim van der Donk. Production runs gas-free and the bottles carry a deposit.
