Muifel Weizen
A hint of banana from the German yeast, plus coriander for an extra citrus feel that returns in the finish: this 5% summer beer is fresh and soft. It joins the German weizen with the Belgian witbier and is brewed with wheat, barley and coriander. The idea took shape in spring 2019: a weizen that fits the Muifelbrouwerij, with a wilful twist.
Tasting Notes
AI-generated sensory profile for Muifel Weizen
Slightly warmer than a lager — 8–12°C allows the banana and clove esters from the yeast to fully develop.
Tall and narrow at the base, flaring at the top — designed to hold the abundant foam of a wheat beer while showcasing its hazy golden body.
Best fresh. The yeast-driven banana and clove character fades over time. Drink within 4 months.
