Pretty Mess is a year-round hazy IPA from Burning Sky Brewery, based in the idyllic East Sussex village of Firle in southern England. True to its playful name, this West Coast–influenced but decidedly modern British hazy pours a hazy, golden-orange with a soft white head. The aroma bursts with tropical fruit — ripe mango, passion fruit and citrus zest — courtesy of a Citra, Mosaic and Amarillo hop blend. On the palate it delivers exactly what it promises: juicy, pillowy softness with bright peach, tangerine and stone fruit flavours underpinned by a gentle, approachable bitterness. The finish is clean and refreshingly fruity, inviting the next sip. Available in 440ml cans, it's irresistibly easy-drinking.
