🌍 Belgium · Witbier · One of 77 Witbiers in hopIQ

Blanche Dubuisson is the family's own white beer, created first and foremost for the brewery's microbreweries and taverns, where it is poured on draught. Beyond them it is hard to find: the brewery bottles it only in very limited quantities in 75 cl. It is a top-fermented witbier of 5%, brewed from a blend of unmalted wheat and barley malt and spiced with dried lemon peel and coriander added towards the end of the boil. The peel and spice give it a fragrant, refreshing character that makes it a natural aperitif.

Pale straw yellow with a soft haze from suspended yeast and wheat protein. The head forms quickly and clings to the glass in fine, delicate lace. Fine carbonation creates a gentle, persistent mousse that settles into a thin crown.

Bright citrus notes lead, driven by dried lemon peel with a subtle herbal undertone from coriander. Soft wheat grain and a faint spice character emerge beneath, while the yeast contributes a mild phenolic whisper and gentle fruity notes. The overall impression is crisp and aromatic rather than assertive.

Serve & Enjoy

How to get the most out of Blanche Dubuisson

Serve at 5–8°C
Refrigerate, then rest 2 min

Serve cold to preserve the delicate citrus and spice aromas. Too warm and the yeast esters become heavy — too cold and the coriander disappears.

Witbier glass
Recommended for this style

The tall, slender wheat beer glass holds the full 50cl pour and shows off the hazy golden colour. The wide mouth lets citrus and spice aromas drift upward freely.

Best consumed fresh. Citrus and spice notes fade after 3–4 months. Drink within 6 months of packaging.
