🌍 Belgium · Belgian Blonde Ale · One of 46 Belgian Blonde Ales in hopIQ

Cuvée des Trolls was born in 2000 in the tanks of Le Brasse-Temps, the brewpub Dubuisson opened in Louvain-la-Neuve, and today heads the brewery's Trolls range. It is an unfiltered, naturally hazy blond ale of 7%, brewed from malt, hops, sugar and water, with dried orange peel added during the boil. The brewery classes it as a strong Belgian blond. Straw-coloured in the glass, it shows clean, fresh aromas of white and yellow fruit, mandarin and honeyed blossom; the palate is broad and fruity, barely bitter, medium-bodied and well balanced.
