◎ Appearance

Deep amber in color, the beer pours brilliantly clear with excellent clarity throughout. A dense, cream-colored head forms on the pour and maintains strong adhesion to the glass, displaying fine lacing as the level drops. The carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, supporting the substantial presence of the foam.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with pronounced ripe banana and dark fruit esters characteristic of the house yeast strain. Sweet caramel malt notes provide a candy-like sweetness that complements the fruity aromatics. Beneath these prominent characters lies a subtle herbaceous hop presence that adds complexity without dominating the bouquet.

◐ Taste

The palate enters full and bittersweet, with the malt backbone displaying nutty, toasted grain characteristics. A gentle hop bitterness emerges mid-palate, providing balance against the residual sweetness from the caramel malt and fermentation sugars. The finish shifts toward a hop-led conclusion, with lingering herbal and slightly spicy notes that bring definition to the overall profile.

The finish extends with good length, as the hop bitterness and herbal notes gradually fade. The aftertaste settles into a warm, slightly dry impression with residual nuttiness and a gentle warming from the elevated alcohol content.

Serve at 7–10°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
