Parade

Tap to rate

Parade is the house IPA of the Lewes brewery and its most widely poured beer. It is fermented with London Fog yeast and hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Idaho 7 on a grist that includes oats and wheat. The brewery describes fruit bubblegum flavours of mango, orange peel, pineapple and ripe flat peach. Tasters add melon and a touch of sweetness; the body is full and soft, the bitterness stays in the background and the finish is juicy.

◎ Appearance

Parade presents a pale golden hue with prominent haze from its oat and wheat bill and London Fog yeast, creating an opaque, cloudy appearance. The dense, cream-coloured head forms readily and maintains good retention and lacing throughout the glass. Bright carbonation is evident in steady streams rising through the murky body.
