Nonic
Nonic is a double IPA hopped entirely with New Zealand varieties: Nelson Sauvin, Wai-iti and Motueka, in the current release from the 2026 harvest. Oats and wheat give the soft, pillowy texture the brewery highlights. It describes flavours of apricot, peach, candyfloss, lime and limoncello. Tasters also find white grape, gooseberry and grapefruit, a medium to full body, noticeable citrus bitterness and a fairly dry, peppery finish.

What is a Double IPA?
IPAs are hop-forward ales with 5.5–7.5% ABV and IBU 40–70+. Bold hop aroma — citrus, tropical, resinous — with firm bitterness and a dry, clean finish.
Finding a similar Double IPA
hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same citrusy, peach, dry character as Nonic will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
