The nose leads with vinegary acidity and aged red wine character, accompanied by dried plum, sour cherry, and hints of leather. Oak sits prominently in the background, lending vanillin and subtle woodsmoke notes. A faint funkiness from prolonged fermentation adds complexity without dominating.

The palate opens tart and sharp, with acidity running at high intensity across the mid-palate. Dark fruit—plum and dried berry—weaves through a dry, wine-like structure reinforced by pronounced oak tannin.
