The nose leads with citrus and tropical fruit notes from the Motueka, Waimea and New Zealand Cascade hops—lemon zest, stone fruit, and a subtle passionfruit character. Behind the bright hop profile, white pepper and floral undertones from the saison yeast emerge, layered with a dry, herbal edge that invites the palate.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with assertive hop bitterness balanced by a lean, mineral dryness that prevents sweetness from dominating. Oats provide just enough body to frame the citrus and tropical hop flavors without adding richness; the saison yeast contributes spice and a crisp, slightly peppery bite that drives the beer forward through the mid-palate.

The finish is clean and quenching, with lingering bitterness and a white-pepper dryness that leaves the mouth refreshed rather than coated. The high attenuation ensures a bone-dry close, making this an ideal aperitif beer.
