◎ Aussehen

The beer presents a hazy amber-gold color characteristic of an unfiltered Double IPA. The cloudiness derives from suspended yeast and hop particles, lending visual weight to the pour. Head retention is firm, with fine bubbles clinging to the glass walls in delicate patterns.

◌ Aroma

Grapefruit and orange citrus notes dominate the nose, supported by a pronounced resinous pine character from the Chinook and Cascade hops. Beneath the bold hop profile, caramel sweetness and a subtle honey note emerge from the generous malt bill, preventing the aroma from becoming one-dimensional.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with bright citrus and hop bitterness that quickly settles into a full, weighty body supported by caramel malt backbone. The hop resin and pine persist through the mid-palate, layered with honey sweetness that balances the 77 IBU without masking them. Bitterness builds steadily rather than attacking, creating a complex bitter-sweet interplay.

◑ Abgang

The finish is long and dry, with lingering bitterness and pine resin notes that fade gradually over several minutes. The drying quality is pronounced, leaving the palate clean yet marked by hop character.
