◎ Aussehen

Pale golden in color with excellent clarity and a bright, luminous quality typical of the style. The head forms densely and clings persistently to the glass, leaving distinct rings of lacing that mark each sip. Carbonation is present and lively without being aggressive.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright citrus notes from substantial Citra additions—grapefruit zest and tangerine pith dominate the initial impression. A pronounced piney, resinous character develops quickly, grounded by the herbal earthiness of Chinook. The underlying Malz foundation provides a soft, grainy sweetness that prevents the hop character from becoming one-dimensional.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with citrus brightness and immediate, assertive bitterness that builds steadily through the mid-palate. A substantial Malz body supports the hop intensity without becoming cloying, while resinous spice layers over the citrus, creating texture and complexity. The 91 IBU commitment is evident but measured, with dryness intensifying toward the finish.

The finish is long and dry, with lingering pine and a peppery hop spice that persists well into the aftertaste. The alcohol warmth becomes noticeable as the beer slows on the palate, inviting a measured drinking pace.
